Description
The Merck KGaA Progard Pretreatment Cartridge Model PR0G000T3, manufactured in France, protects the reverse osmosis (RO) membrane from hard water components by removing large particles, organic compounds, and free chlorine from tap water. Designed specifically for Milli-QDirect water purification systems, this new and unused pretreatment pack optimizes system lifetime and performance. Constructed from polypropylene and EPDM, it effectively reduces mineral scaling, organic fouling, and chlorine oxidation, tolerating feed water containing up to 1 ppm of chlorine and a silt density index (SDI) of up to 5. The cartridge includes natural activated carbon media and polyphosphate to prevent scaling without ion release. The unit features 100% traceability with an e-Sure Tag incorporating RFID technology, ensuring safe and optimal system performance.
