It is very reliable and has accessories to match any application. This unit has been tested extensively and may need some attention to attain optimal performance. However, with its fail test parameters in mind, it still runs at 30M Torr instead of the expected 0-10M Torr. The pump is used for a wide range of applications including refrigeration dehydration, brake line evacuation, epoxy degassing, sterilization, mass spectrometry, vacuum ovens, lasers, backing combinations, thin film coating, vacuum distillation, freeze drying, space research, and other vacuum processes.
