The Thermo Scientific Fast Vac Vacuum Manifold is a durable, chemical-resistant instrument capable of processing up to 20 samples simultaneously using a vacuum. It eliminates the need for multiple centrifugation steps and disposal of flow-through from collection tubes. The one-way Luer-Lock stopcocks are compatible with most nucleic acid purification columns and individually controlled, allowing the processing of as few as one sample at a time. The extra-large waste reservoir makes it convenient for protocols that require processing large volumes, such as during plasmid DNA isolation using a Pure Link Fast Low-Endotoxin plasmid purification kit. The equipment is used in molecular biology, bioprocessing, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
