It accepts J, K, T, and E thermocouples and measures up to 1600 F 900 C. The large backlit dual display shows T1, T2, or differential T1 minus T2 along with MIN, MAX, or AVG. A relative time clock timestamps MIN MAX AVG events for traceable measurements. Laboratory-grade accuracy of 0.05 percent plus 0.3 C and an electronic offset function help compensate probe error for improved system accuracy. Units are selectable in C, F, or Kelvin. Powered by three AA batteries with typical 1000 hour life and sleep mode to conserve power; the easy-access battery door preserves the calibration seal.
