Product Information
The Agilent 8453 Spectrophotometer P/N G1103A with G1120A Multicell Transport is a single-beam, microprocessor-controlled, UV-visible spectrophotometer with collimating optics. The Agilent 8453 UV-Vis system offers powerful data analysis and data archival to ensure compliance with good laboratory practices (GLP) and pharmacopoeia requirements. It is known for its diode-array technology, providing fast scanning, excellent sensitivity, and virtually absolute wavelength reproducibility. The spectrophotometer is capable of UV-Vis spectral acquisition and analysis in less than 1 second, with stable optics, low noise electronics, and no moving parts. The system comes pre-aligned with deuterium and tungsten lamps that can be exchanged easily, along with self-test and revisions built into the software/firmware. This equipment is suitable for various applications like DNA/RNA analysis, protein quantification, enzyme kinetics, and drug stability testing.
Technician comment
Includes Tray for 16 spectrophotometer cells with 10mm pathlength. (Minor cosmetic damage on cells, see photos for details.)
