The Bio Rad Criterion Cell Midi Electrophoresis Cell is a midi electrophoresis cell designed for running one or two Criterion gels. It can accommodate Criterion precast or handcast gels and offers the capability to run up to 26 samples in less than 1 hour with a single Criterion gel. This equipment is best suited for polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE or SDS-PAGE), 2-D gel electrophoresis, and screening new samples to evaluate sample preparation conditions. The Criterion cell is compact, features integrated cassette buffer chamber, ensures safe and easy operation with built-in wedge and locator slots, and facilitates the separation of more samples in fewer runs. It offers a total buffer volume of 1 L and typical running conditions involve a constant 200 V. The item has been tested for basic functionality and comes with a 30-Day Warranty, 100% Parts and Labor.
