The Thermo Scientific 2900-AA Aerosol Sense Sampler is a highly sensitive and stable aerosol collection and separation technology designed to identify the presence of in-air pathogens, including SARS-CoV-2, Flu A/B, and RSV. It acts as a new pathogen surveillance solution to deliver crucial insight into in-air pathogen presence for monitoring and improving facility safety protocols. This easy-to-use unit aims to sample indoor air in various settings such as classrooms, offices, nursing homes, and waiting rooms. It complements insights from individual testing programs and is intended to capture a wide variety of in-air pathogens. The sampler is validated specifically for SARS-CoV-2, Flu A/B, and RSV-B. It has a simple workflow of collecting samples, removing and replacing sample cartridges, and sending them to the lab for testing. The electrical requirements are 100/240 VAC 50/60 Hz 125 W. It has multiple certifications/compliance including TUV-SUD, CE, UKCA, and ROHS. The sampler has a flow rate of 200 LPM and minimal dust interference. It comes with a 3-color LED display, operates within a temperature range of 5 to 45°C, and has minimal humidity interference (over 10% to 90% RH).
